Yes Ive been on a birth control year for about three years now. Almost a month ago I skipped a bunch of birth control pills. This caused me too start bleeding about a week before my real period was suposed to start. A few days before my period was suposed to start I just started to take a new pill pack since the one before that was still really messed up, and to prevent me from bleeding for about two weeks. I had only been on my new pill pack for 2 days and I had unprotected sex. Since then I have been spotting for this whole month, and now its a week before my period is due and im still spotting.Do you think that its because of the change in the timing I now take my birth control pills... since I started my new pill pack early it might be out of wack??? Or do you think Theres a huge possibility that im pregnant???

I am not sure if you would be spotting that long if you were pregnant. However, there is a possibility that ovulation occurred since you missed a whole bunch of pills and were only two days on your new pack. I am no doctor but from what I’ve been reading about missed pills, you should have used additional protection for at least a week after you started this new pack.

Considering it is a week before your period, you may want to wait for another week and have a test done to make sure that the results are true.

It is also possible that the pills are causing you this mess. So annoying!
