Hi
I've had UC for 9 years now and recently my doctor found pre-cancerous cells (displaysia (sp?)) in one of my two polyps. He is advocating for me to have surgery and spoke with me about new options regarding surgery without a bag--connecting my small intestine to the end. Does anyone have experience with this? I've heard mixed things. Any thoughts or contributions would be appreciated!
Thanks
JR
