type 2 diabetes

I am a 42 year old male and I have rcently been diagnozed with type2 diabetes.I am not overweight but have been on prednisolone therapy for three months.My G.P prescribed Gliclazide 160mg but I still urinate very frequentlly and have blurred vision which I find very disturbing.Please whats your advise
