tilt and turn test

could you tell me the procedure of the above test, also is this test carried out on infants who's lips occasionally turn blue?? thank you.

Are you referring to a table tilt test? If so, the way the procedure is carried out is that the patient is strapped to a table and then tilted upright. It's a way to test how the body responds to pumping blood, because it's often used for people with a low pulse. Although it would be unusual to perform on an infant, I could see that it might be carried out on on whose lips turn blue to figure out what the heart function is to ensure that the infant's heart is strong enough. Does that help? Is that what you meant?
