symptoms of high blood pressure

does anyone of you with high blood pressure ever experience realy dizziness? i woke up the other high and i felt really lightheaded and dizzy to the point where i thought i was going to pass out. i've been on bp meds for a couple of months now, it ranging anywhere from 140/98 to 125/82. ever since this episode the other night my head still feels funny, like an all over headache kind of ache. is this from the blood pressure?
