Hi, I have been prescribed with Zoloft, but I am thinking of switching to Palix. Is it effective to switch from one antidepressant to other from time to time?

Hi, many doctors prefer to switch their patient to another antidepressant, if the one they originally prescribed caused too many side effects. They can change doses also, in order to determine appropriate medication and reach desired goal. Many patients feel better after switching to another antidepressant. Every patient is not responding to the same therapy in same manner. Third of patients suffering from depression has been cured by Celexa. You need to consult your doctor for switching from one treatment to another.
