Tell me what are effective remedies for bells palsy. My mother is on corticosteroids but it seems that they are not helping her as effective as they should. Are there other medications that she could take? There is improvement, but it is so slow. She is 56 years old and she would like to be as before, she is nervous and desperate often.

Well I assume that she is already using vitamin B and Methylcobalamin. They are supporters in recovery process. But as for medications, she could only use anti-virals, which I believe she is also already taking. So, there are choices linked with electrical stimulation even surgery. Perhaps the best thing would be to be patient just a little more and see what happens.
