rantidine_acid indigestion

I have symptoms of acid indigestion and I take ranitidine every day. It helps me a lot, and it is good that I can buy it like otc drug. I take it before meal and my symptoms are gone.
But how long is it safe for me to use it? What are the consequences of its chronic usage?

It is not recommended to take ranitidine over the counter for longer than 10 days. Visit a/ your doctor. You may have ulcer, don’t be so careless with your health condition.
Ranitidine is a drug for treating ulcers, it may cause side effects and if you take it as often as you like, it is possible that you overdose. I wouldn’t do that if I were you.
