Hello. If a bulimic person eats 3 bowls of cereal in the morning and then goes to throw it up about 30 minutes later and pukes until they taste only bile in the throw up, does this mean that everything is out of the system completely? Or does your body have the ability to hold onto certain foods or liquids even if it has not had time to digest it fully yet? Does this mean that you will still have the calories in you even after you are puking only bile?
Thanks.

Hey. Well if your starving yourself I'd say your stomach is moving that food along to the next part of the digestive tract pretty darn fast. When a person gets to the point of puking bile, they move on to dry heaving. Your "friend" needs to embrace the sanctity of life and start eating. Razz

p.s. And there's so many more who just need to stop!
