Hi,

I am a 32 year old 6'4", 242lbs male with type I diabetes diagnosed about 20 years ago.

The problem is that about a month ago I start feeling some pain and a little numbness on my left hand wrist and finger joints (only left hand not the right one and I am right handed) it is worse in the morning when I wake up, now for about 3-4 days I noticed a little swelling on my left foot and specially around the ankle with a little pain and also worse in the mornings.

For more information I have to add that I had a routine blood test (almost testing everything)about 4 months ago and everything seemed to be fine, my diabetes was well controlled only i had 3-4 times very tense insulin reactions almost sending me to comma (blood suger tested 20-30 mg/ml) that made me change my dose of use. Also I had a very stressfull and full of tension year at work.

Can anyone please advise me on what can cause my problem with left hand and ankle?

Thank You All
