ovarian cyst vs. ovarian ectopic pregnancy

I am 13 days pregnant, or so we believe, and am experiencing pain on my right side. Dr. says's could be ectopic. I had spot bleeding on 4 separate days prior to conception. I have a history of a previous ectopic on that same side? I am in a waiting period and have only had one HCG level taken which was 113. Could this be a cyst and not an ectopic due to the spotting prior? Going crazy...have been trying for over a year for a baby. any thoughts?
