My last period began April 19. About a month after that, I had a minimal amount of spotting but no period. I figured I hadn't ovulated that month, due to a very stressful career change. I took a couple of pregnancy tests just to see, both were negative. After the spotting, I have had intercourse. Now, I experienced minimal spotting once about six days ago, and once this morning. I took a third pregnancy test about a week ago, also negative. Normally, my periods are very regular - like a calendar! I have been TTC for 9 months - had a m/c in January. Any thoughts?

This post could have been written by me. My periods are like clockwork, and I have been trying to conceive for the past two months. My last period began on May 9, and then a week ago, I had minimal spotting for three days. If the spotting were my "true" period, it was already a week late, as I have a 31 day cycle. I have had definite pregnancy symptoms (nausea, vomiting, fainting, breast tenderness, vaginal dryness), but am testing negative.

A friend who just gave birth three weeks ago, said that she tested negative until she was 9 weeks pregnant. Anyone hear of that possibility? I am wondering if there is still any chance I could be pregnant. I am hesitating going to the doctor, as I hate to go, am already taking prenatals, and doing everything I should be if I were pregnant. I hate to go, only to hear them say that I am not...

I found out eventually that I was actually pregnant, and the spotting was a miscarriage. Sad We are giving up for now, and going to try again in January after a vacation out of the country.

Just found out last week that I am pregnant! The spotting from June turned out to be a miscarriage. I didn't learn that I had lost it until nearly two weeks later. At that point, my partner and I decided to start using birth control to hold off on getting pregnant for a while.

Well, a week later, lo and behold.... it was too late for contraception! I am now 5 weeks pregnant and doing well! Just got diagnosed with a UTI today, but the doc says that baby is fine. Keeping my fingers crossed![/img]

ok, heres my story..in feb i started spotting lightly when my cycle(usually 5 wks) should have started. i spotted for like 7 days and then bld for 4. so 5 wks from the spotting, i have symptoms like my cycle is about to start-cramping, and then spotting.. well all i had was pink spotting for 1 day and a half at the most. that was 2 weeks ago. now i have tender nipples. so i dont know if i should count from when i started bleeding in feb, because if so i am only a wk past the spotting. this morning i took a 1st respnse test and it was NEGATIVE!!! i am going to the doc on fri a.m. so i can have a pre-preg chkup as i call it.. but as i read the posts, could istill be preg, just needing a bld test?
any advice?

Ok,
Here's my story, I have two children already and my husband and I have not even thought about another one. I have been feeling sick pretty much all day for the past 5 days, I've also been cramping, and now I'm spotting bright red. It won't matter either way if I am pregnant or not but I'm confused. I know spotting is normal for early pregnancy and so is cramping and nausea, but the tests are negative. With my other pregnancies I knew I was pregnant before the tests would show up positive. I believe with my first I was 8 weeks before the test turned positive, and with my second it was 7 weeks. What are the chances that I'm pregnant again?

My story goes like this, My course was due last week. On Thursday of last week I spotted, not even the whole day. I took a UPT on Monday and it was negative. My cycle was like clock work, I am taking BCP and have been for 10 yrs. I did recently change my pills. I have been nauseous daily since Thursday and have had headaches. No other "pregnancy" symptoms. Should I take another UPT and if so how long should I wait. Or should I call my GYN?

Hi everyone. i really need some advice. ok heres my story. me and my fiance have been having unprotected sex for 5 months now and nothing happened. my period is always like clockwork never late!! But my last period ended on the 15th of may and i spent a couple of days in london from the 3rd-7th june. while i was away i had light spotting for about 3 days it was browny/ pink dots but very little, no where near enough to fill a tampon. i thought i might be pregnant as we had unprotected sex over my fertile days. anyway i came home and didnt really worry about it, my period was due 9 days ago and it stilll hasnt come. i have been having shocking headaches every day and my nipples are darker and having slight stomach cramps but never any bleeding i have lik a white sticky mucus coming all the time instead of a period and feel slight pressure in my abdomen. get really tired too. my breats are a little tender but are usually alot more tender when my period coming and slight spots on my face. i also have been really emotional and moody too i no this caqn be pmt but when i had spotting and missed period just wondering am i pregnant? did 2 pregnancy tests 1 on the day of my missed period and one 3 days after my missed period but read that your hormone levels can be too low. I've never ever had spotting before or a late period so please some one help
thanks Smile

I stopped my birth control last month and now I have had one day of light spotting and now nothing. Im extremely tired, but not nauseated. I've taken 4 hpt's and all negatives! I have read lots and lots of womens stories that say even after a doctors blood test that says positive, they still tested negative at home...so if I don't start soon I will go to the doctore...good luck everyone! Consider googling your questions you might have and read how many women out there have special and strange circumstances as they find out they are pregnant...its really interesting

My problems are:
- never had spotting then i have spotting now.
- hyperthyroid
- irregular periods.
- bloated stomach
- acne
- when i have my period, they are very light.

Went to see 2 doctors:
1. endocrinologist
My thyroid level has become normal but my hormone level is high and she sent me to have an ultrasound and it turns out I have PCOS( Polycystic Ovary Syndrome).
so she told me to go see an OB/GYN and recommend taking Metmorfin.

2. OB/GYN
result of consultation:
- she gave me birth control because Metmorfin is not for me because my cysts are still small. There is a possibility these cysts can be washed out from my body after i have my period.
she told me to have another ultrasound after i am done with my period.

All these happened in the past week, so there is no changes or improvement in my body yet.

Btw, my OBGYN mentioned that period can be a little off after travelling.

hopefully this helps.
