I was complaining, for some time, about weakness, disorders of movement and imbalance. When all that started I was not paying much attention, but in time I get worse. I went to see my doctor and tell him all about. After some talking and checking he told me that I must do various diagnostic tests. Among these tests is neurologic testing. I would like to know haw does it looks like and whether is it painful.

I had a neurologic testing myself recently, and I can tell you all about that. To tell the true it seemed more like a game than real testing. I suppose that it is the same "exercises" for all patients. You will be asked to push or pull in specified direction against resistance, then you will need to hold the arms outstretched. Your neurologist will also count the number of times you can perform a deep – knee bend or step on stool or chair. All this tests do not cause any pain so you do not need to worry.
