Hello

Over the past week or so I've started to feel nauseous all the time. I've gained 5 pounds in about 10 days, which is odd considering I have not been eating any more or exercising any less than usual. I am not pregnant. My stomach feels bloated and sticks out, and I'm constantly plagued by the feeling that I'm going to vomit. I do have some tenderness and mild discomfort in the right side of my abdomen, but nothing intolerable.

Can anyone help me?

Bagheera

The problem is that your symptoms resemble too many gastrointestinal disorders and the only way to find out is to see a doctor. We can make all sorts of guesses here but it won’t do you any good, it will only make you postpone your visit to a doctor.

If you didn’t mention that you were not pregnant, I would even think of ectopic pregnancy. Right side pain and vomiting could be associated with gallstones or with appendicitis, it could even be mononucleosis but you would also feel fatigue, and so on.

Unfortunately (or luckily), the only way to find out is have yourself checked. That is the easiest and fastest way to realize what kind of problem you have and get the appropriate treatment if necessary.

Been having the same problems and every test seems to be coming up negative. Bagheera, have you gotten the answer to this problem?

both of you should get checked for uterine fibroids if your doctor has not already done so. your symptoms are exactly the same as mine, and my gynecologist recently discovered that's what i have. the fibroids can grow inside or outside your uterus. they can press on the bladder, the intestines, other organs and/or nerves that go down to your legs.

it could be many different things, as the symptoms are vague. but it doesn't hurt to have it checked out.

Sounds like an ovarian cyst. I have one on my right side and it constantly hurts, I look like I'm pregnant because of the bloating, and also have the tender breast. All of these things sound like an ovarian cyst. They have almost the same symptoms of pregnancy.

That's wrong Simone. I have no intestinal disorders but are experiencing similar symptoms as Bagheera. especially bloating and sensations in the right side of my abdomen. I am under the care of a doctor and I have been checked.

It's always best to consult with a physician while it's still early.
