As a long term diabetic I think that I passed all kinds of procedures, treatments and therapies. But, recently I heard about something called: "Managing type 1 diabetes". I tried to find information about this, but it was not successful. And a doctor of mine is abroad, so I don't have other way, then to ask you. Have you heard about this?

Yes, I have. Just like you I was surprised that there is a thing about diabetes and that I was not heard about it. Definition is something like this: "diabetes managing is a mode of treatment for the person with diabetes mellitus that has the goal of achieving normal or near normal glycemia using all available recourses to accomplish this goal". About the mechanism you must discus with your doctor.
