Can anxiety and panic attacks cause physical swelling on the chest wall and throat?
My mom has had a swollen area around her neck, on her chest plate, right under the adams apple area for a couple of months. She has attacks of not being able to breath and a constant feeling of something in her throat, which also visably swells sometimes. Been to LOTS of doctors had lots of tests, no diagnosis. |
I had the same thing, and suffered for a year, waking up at nig
dht not being able to breath. I decided to take diuretics, which I used to take for
high blood pressure, but stopped 12 months ago, they took away the swelling as it was a build up of water, its only my second day and I feel much better already, I happen to have had some at home (old medication) I will now go to the doctor for more, and this time keep on them, otherwise my arteries get clogged up, water builds up and I cant breath.
