I am a 47-year old male and suffer from low back pain. In the last six months I have had constant diarrhea, trouble urinating and constant stomach pain. I've had a colonscopy, extensive upper GI, blood tests, etc. and nothing shows up. I've been to a spine surgeon and he says the pain in my stomach isnt' due to my back. I've had epidural injections for the back and it doesn't seem to help the stomach. Does anyone else have the same symptoms, and if so, what treatment did they seek

Try going to see a chiropractor, they will get it!

I would assume that perhaps, after trying all the treatment and ruling out many theories, .... you suffer from...

Ihave the same symptom,.. my lower back hurts like HELL and my left lower abdomen and left testicles hurt like hell.

I know this isn't mechanical or muscle strains, i have ruled that out. I have noticed that this pain occurs when i do the following:

a) drink very strong coffee like espresso,
b) i haven't been drinking too much water
c) if i have been taking hormone pills, like body building pills
d) drink Malt beverages, alcoholic malt beverages is worse.
e) pain med don't help, they only add to the problem b/c they dehydrate you.

it seems to go away when i stop drinking caffeine and drink alot of water, strentch and exercise and get proper sleep.

Best of luck to you my man..

the above mentioned has done me more good than surgery, chiropractice and pain medication.

this is a symptoms related to high caffiene intake and not drinking enough water. cut down on caffiene, medication, hormone pills, and drink alot of water and you will feel better.

I have same problems - even crippling. Once bowls settle down I am fine. Have had thousands of dollars in tests and everyone says IBS.

I dont believe it too much - mostly related to lactose
