Seeing your doctor is the right thing to do, but if they can't tell you anything..... here's a thought.
I have severe food intolerances to sugar, glucose and honey. When I mistakenly eat something, I get a SEVERE headache that lasts exactly 4 days from the time I've eaten or drank the stuff. On about the 3rd day of this headache, the right side of my face goes numb, from the eye down to the jawline. It's screaming territory and I try to stay away from people that I might hurt!!!
In my teens and 20's, before a fabulous doctor figured this out, I ate a fairly normal diet filled with cakes, sweet tea, etc and just always had a headache - some days were better than others, but I always had the headache. After the doctor figured it out and I stopped ALL ingestion of added sugar, the daily headache went away

but the more severe ones and the numbness came with even little 'mistakes'.
I'm now 57, headache free, sugar free, and loving life without the headaches and numbness that goes with it.
Moral to story - there IS life without sugar, headaches and facial numbness!!
Cheers
Marci
