Hi, I am 54 years old women and I have problems with my legs. Sometimes they are swelling so much that I can't put my shoes on. In the morning swelling is very small but during the day it becomes larger. My legs are swelling earlier too but not so much and not so frequently. Does someone know what may I do about this?

Hi, there are several reasons why your legs may swell. First one may be because of damaged veins on your legs. The other cause may be because your heart is not able to pump regularly and strong enough so there is plenty of fluid which accumulate in your legs and cause swelling. Third reason may be some rheumatic disorder if swell is warm and tight. As you may notice there are several reasons for leg swelling so I suggest you to consult your doctor.
