Although I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes I do not fell any different. In the matter of fact I don't feel sick at all. If I understand it properly, this is not a disease that starts in a moment. So I probably have it for some time, but I didn't know. Now when I have knowledge of my medical condition, and I got all restrictions I am confused. How to live normal life with type 1 diabetes, like I use to?

First of all ask for second opinion. The second thing you can do, if you have diabetes type 1, is to consult your doctor how to live a normal life. You and your doctor should make, together, your future plan of therapy. If you do that, your disease want be obstacle for normal living any more. I did something similar five years ago, and became very satisfied. Diabetes can be advantage if you can manage it.
