I heard something that made me think. Is it true that hormones are fat burners for stomach?

Well, this is hard to say, but female and male hormones have something to do with storing fat at specific parts of the body. But, at the beginning hormones (gender) is not the only reason, here are also genetic inheritance and age; of course proper nutrition and exercise.
Men tend to store fat around their middle, which reminds us of apple shape, while woman store fat around hips, butt and thighs, which gives us pear shape. This are of course typical examples and as stated before there are few contributing factors besides hormones.
Ok, here comes the hormones relation with fat storage: for example, when women get into menopause and after their menopause, women are prone to develop an apple shape, meaning they are storing fat around their belly. Why? Because in menopause the female hormones are present in smaller amounts, so women’s shape tends to be more “male like”.
