Hello! I am interested in what sort of diet does a person, who suffers from hiv and has stomach problems, need?

Hello there! Here are the most important rules about dieting for people with hiv. The most important thing is to avoid eating toxins and foods that kill (Margarine and other hydrogenated fats, refined salt, table salt, chlorinated water, antibiotics, aspartame, MSG - mono sodium glutamate, hormones – milk, food additives, sugar, cane sugar, corn syrup, chocolate and other foods containing similar concentrated sweeteners, refined oils, baking powder, hard and dry bovine milk cheese, junk food, fried, smoked, grilled foods, soft drinks and alcohol drinks). Another important thing is to drink a lot of water. Drink 1/2 your body weight of water in ounces, daily. Avoid caffeinated or alcoholic drinks. These are diuretics and will dehydrate you. Every 6 oz. of caffeine or alcohol requires an additional 10 to 12 oz. of water to re-hydrate you. Your nutrition should contain foods that heal, vegetable juices that go straight to the blood stream, unrefined sea salt, etc. It is actually very hard to explain everything here online. There are so many things to know and learn. That is why a person with hiv need often check ups, counseling, consultation and treatments with doctors, or try to find a support group or something.
