Hi I'm 18 years old and have been experiencing absent periods for several years now. I am sexually active and I haven't had a period since August. I've recently been having vaginal discharge after sex/masturbation and it's always different, ranging from thick white to bright red to brown. It also hurts to urinate. I've also experienced weight gain and stomach cramps and I've been constipated and I feel like something's pressing against my colon/bladder. My heart rate has increased and I occasionally feel dizzy but it goes away quickly, but it's rare. I've taken 2 HPTs and have a negative result. I experienced a similar occurance last January but it turned out to be stress and I got my period in February. I'm not so sure about this time. My mother had cervical polyps a few years ago and experienced the absent periods and pressure...could this be at all related to what I'm going through?

You may be experiencing a UTI (urinary tract infection) or a kidney infection. Have you had it checked already? It's really difficult to determine whether or not you're pregnant, since you have irregular periods, but I'm assuming that you have a UTI or kidney infection. The doctor will prescribe antibiotics and it should go away in about three or four days. Also, do your best to drink a lot of water and/or cranberry juice. Good luck to you!

you NEED to go and get checked for ovarian cysts! and do it soon because if you have them and they rupture, you will be in pain. go to planned parenthood or your gyno and have them do a transvaginal ultrasound. i had the same symptoms and had two cysts removed from both ovaries...

good luck...and make your appointment!
