heavy menstrual cycle lasting for 3 weeks up to present

I just had a baby 6 months ago. After giving birth my menses resumed normally. I'm not taking any birth control pills ever. This is the first time it happened to me. My regular menstrual cycle only lasts for 6 days to 7 days but, this month it's really heavy and already lasting for 2 weeks and up to now.

I just had a baby 13 weeks ago I bleed for 7weeks right after my c section. Now im on the 15day of my period I don't see my doc for 2more months. What did your doc say?
