headache,recurring fever for 8 days now

since last tues i have had a headache,loss of appetite and a fever that goes during the day and comes back at night,i went to the hospital on sat.they told me i had symptoms of menengitis.i was given a spinal tap and the test came back negative and i was sent home.it seems as if im getting better,but im not sure.any ideas what could be wrong with me?

I too have had a headache for the last 8 days. Not sure why. Booked Dr's apt.
If you had any luck w/finding a cause/cure, please let me know.
