experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis in dogs

Hello! Could somebody tell me what is experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis? That is how my dog was diagnosed lately and as I understood there is no effective treatment for this experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis condition so far and I wonder now if there is anything I could do to save my dog. Hi! I had a dog with exactly the same experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis and I know that is sort of an autoimmune system disorder that affects the central nervous system and maybe it would be best described as multiple sclerosis in humans. My dog lived for years with this experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis diagnose and for this disease in its last stage is very progressive I finally have decided to end with this just to save him from the pains for it affects joint, muscles, his teeth started to fall off so I brought him to the vet and he gave him a deadly shot. I still think that this is the best solution for now for there is no effective experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis treatment.
