Hello! During two last months I have been suffering from excessive gas. At the beginning I laughed at myself, especially because the smell was quite severe as well. I thought it is the food and a bigger amount of vegetables I was having. However, the excessive gas did not vanish and is now followed by diarrhea. I don’t laugh anymore bc this is making me very uncomfortable, especially at work. What should I do?

The same thing happened to my little daughter. The gas was funny for us at the beginning, than it started to worry us, as well as the diarrhea that followed. So, I took her to the clinic to have this thing checked and it turned out that she suffers from celiac disease. This is a very rare condition and it means gluten intolerance. That was causing the gas, and it lead to improper digestion of food and result in excessive diarrhea. If we didn’t take her in time, there could have been flatulence, malnutrition and weight loss. I don’t want to scare you, but as you can see excess gas can mean that there is a serious problem.
