My mom has been diagnosed with depression; she started with a therapy right away. She is on Zoloft, the 100mg tabs, for now. I hope that she’ll be better. It was very hard in these last couple of months for us in the house. I’ve heard that depression is curable if the prescribed drugs are taken regularly. I would like to hear other people experiences. How they handled situation.

I had a roommate in college. She had depression too. First she had counseling with therapist .She refused drugs. It was very hard for me to live with her. So I asked for another room. I was really patient, but also young and without any experience dealing with depression. Later, I know that she was on Prozac and that she was better. She even started studying, so I guess that Prozac was good for her. I don’t know what happened with her after the school. I think she is married now.
