discomfort on the lower right side obliquo abdominal

i have discomfort on the lower right side obliquo abdominal, it looks like on this side its more protruding than the other side, so the obliquol line is closer to the side of my hip on this side. Sometimes after eating I feel discomfort in this earier and it seems more swollen than the other side.
I have had ultra sounds and its not a hernia of any type and the doctors say its nothing but I feel that something is wrong there, do you have any idea of what it could be?

It does sound strange when a doctor says it is nothing especially if you have constant discomfort and apparent swelling. I would ask them to look deeper into it.

What if you have some problems with your bowels? I mean, I am no doctor but my sister-in-law was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and she had lower abdominal pain as well as swelling. She also developed very high fever and had diarrhea for days. She didn’t want to see a doc because she thought it was stomach virus/bacteria she once had with similar symptoms. Not until she started pooping blood did she saw a doc! You didn’t report having any additional symptoms but I wouldn’t give up if I were in pain! It can’t be nothing. Have you had a blood test any other tests done?

You may be intolerant to some food if it occurs after eating!
