Ever since my childhood I was diagnosed with diabetes type 1. Since that time I was using my therapy properly and had no problems. But now I am married woman, I want to have a baby. Therefore I am interested in all possibilities of treatments and diagnose procedure before planning pregnancy. If someone had similar experience, please any advice.

Two years ago I had the same situation. In that time I had diabetes type 1 and also wanted to get pregnant. My doctor advised me various sort of tests. Among all tests there was glucose intolerance test. The other things that are important are your previous conditions such are: 25 years, obesity, family history of DM. Best idea is to ask your doctor about this, like I do. He/she can be your best guide during your disease and future pregnancy.
