cytomel weight gain

I have been on cytomel for 6 months now and I am experiencing weight gain. I thought that once I started having medications for my hypo, the weight gain will go away but I am experiencing quite the opposite. Is there anybody with similar problems? I would like to hear your stories. Tha

I have been on cytomel for 9 years and I haven’t had any side effects. However, I did hear that many people report both weight gain and weight loss from this drug. If you believe that you are not getting a good response from this drug, you may talk to your doc and see if there is anything you can do about it.

I've been on cytomel for 6 months and as of the past two months I've experienced an increase in appetite and weight gain. Why would this be? When I began taking cytomel I lost 12 lbs. in two months.

Cytomel is suppose to help you lose weight . Are you on 25 mcg? Talk with your Dr and see if he will increase your dosage .
