hello! I lost my virginity about a week ago I bled that night and spotted for a couple days later. The past couple days I've had cramps, they feel kinda like period cramps. My boyfriend and I have been researching, and I dont think I'm pregnant, but there's a little inkling that makes me think I am. What do you think? Is this normal after the first time, or do I have more serious problems. I'm on the pill and we used a condom, but it was the exact time that I could have been ovulating. thank you!

If you used condoms and birth control, it's very unlikely you're pregnant. Losing your virginity can be a traumatic experience even if you're with someone you love, so getting feelings of guilt, anxiety, etc are normal and could contribute to physical symptoms. This may be something you want to talk about with an adult you can trust and hopefully they can help you feel better about what has happened. If symptoms persist, however, you do need to see a doctor and tell them what has happened and how you feel. Either way, it is probably best to lay off the sex for a while, until you can get a mental handle on what has occurred.
