Hello. I hope that you might help me with my health problems. I am 45 years old, and I have been suffering from lupus several years ago. Last couple of days, my condition worsened, I feel muscle pain, I have high temperature, pain in joints. Doctor prescribed me salicilate, but it did not help. I even have lung problems now. Doctor recommends corticosteroids. What to do – corticosteroids vs NSAIDs in lupus treatment, which is better?

I think that in this case, you really should listen to what your doctor recommended you. High levels of corticosteroids should help you with calming down your condition. They are very powerful medications, especially for treating these kinds of episodes within your illness. They are much better then NSAID. I hope that you will get better soon.
