I am interested in corticosteroids effectivness in lupus treatment. I have been diagnosed with it last month and I must admit, I still haven't got used to a fact that I have a illness that will follow me until the end of my life. Well, perhaps they will find a cure in next decade or so, hope never dies, right?

SLE truly is a condition that has no cure, at least for now. Still, it is a illness that consists of periodical attacks, characterized with various symptoms. It can attack almost any tissue in our body, and the only thing doctors can do is prescribing something to relieve us from the symptoms. Corticosteroids are a very effective weapon in that fight.
