constant severe fatigue, sleeping to much with weight loss, mental changes

Hello, i am wondering what to think of my husbands health. He is almost 50, smokes weed and this past 2 years ive seen a marked change in him. In the past 7-8 months after he returns home from work, he stays in the bathroom for HOURS, i mean anywhere from 3-6 hrs!!! He acts different, like he is out of it, when off work, weekends, he sleeps all weekend long, he doesnt look healthy, he seems like he's in some kind of pain to be on the toilet that LONG!, constantly has to have chocolate milk! I am afraid he is going to die on me! I can just tell he isnt well, in fact, my family notices it to! He does construction work and i know its very hard work, but, something is wrong with him! How can somebody sleep like that? What could it be? Hypoglycemia? His memory isnt that great either! And mood swings! He told me one day, he wasnt going to be here much longer! This was when i came into the bathroom while he was sitting on toilet, i asked him what was wrong and he could tell me, i would take him to the doctor! He just said: dont worry, im not going to be here much longer! He doesnt mean suicide, that i guarantee!!! I am SCARED to death! I've been warned by my father, that one day im going to try and wake him up and he's not going to wake up! You see, he has been messing around with crack or meth here and there. I know the reason why he does it! Because he cant keep up with this type of work! Or, is it just an excuse? Any opinions would be appreciated! Thanks
