I had similar problems six months ago. My periods started acting strange, I had breakthrough bleedings and I was really worried because I have always been regular. My mom suggested I should see a gynecologist and after touching my ovaries, she order an
ultrasound and she determined that I had some ovarian cysts. She said that they are not dangerous (most of the time) but that they do cause weird symptoms like abdominal cramping, cramping in the ovarian area, and wicked menstrual cycles. She said she wouldn’t do anything besides wait and watch because these cysts go away on their own. They form during ovulation, when the sacs that release eggs fill with
fluid. The thing is that they need to be watched because, they may become bloody and enlarge so much and threaten to burst. This doesn’t happen so often but there’s a risk. This is why I would recommend you saw a doc to check what’s going on.
