I have read that it does,
but I haven't found any very convincing studies,
so I am doing my own trial.
I drink 8 oz. of soymilk with a tablespoon of cinnamon in it daily.
even if it doesn't directly aid in slimming me down,
it keeps me from eating unhealthy sweets.
it tastes pretty good!
research cinnamilk, it is said to help with weightloss as well,
but i drink soy milk because it has less fat, carbs, and calories than the milk sold at my grocery store.
