Hi. I'm 16 year old female and just recently I started to get these menstrual periods. They are very light at the beginning but now- they are a bit heavier but always come on time.
The thing is that I've read a lot about these irregularities in this menstruation issue and that it can cause serious problems to a girl and affect many things.
This premenstrual syndrome, as some called it, is supposedly caused by some changing hormones in our body. Can someone please explain me more about this syndrome and its cause!

I'm very glad that you're so interested to hear more about it although you don’t have problems with it.
PMT includes a whole range of symptoms and the most commons are tender breasts, depression, anxiety, headache, feeling unable to cope, tiredness, irritability and aggression, bloating of the abdomen and food cravings.
No one really knows the exact cause of these problems but many think that it is nothing more then just one exaggerated response to changing hormone levels in your body.
Many women have came to the conclusion that caffeine can help in relieving these symptoms!
