Hey, I have
experience with people who suffered from cervical spondylotic myelopathy. It is difficult evaluating the efficacy of any particular treatment strategy for cervical spondylotic myelopathy because reports show that as many as 18 % of patients improve spontaneously. The current
understanding of cervical spondylotic myelopathy, unfortunately, does not allow physicians to predict the course of a patient. Also, the literature regarding various treatment strategies both surgical and non-surgical for this condition is flawed because of a lack of prospective controlled studies.
