Hi,

For about 5 weeks I have been experiencing brown/clearish anal discharge at any time of day, its not lots but enough to make me feel uncomfortable  . I also experience a burning sensation around my anus or can be very itichy :( . There is also a small amount of blood whenever I wipe my bottom. I ve have been to my doctors twice and they have done a stool sample which didnt show anything, they took a blood sample last week and I get the results this week  . Any idea what this could be?

I am hetrosexual.

Thanks in advance

your problem could be caused by anal fissures or Hemeroids. Both of these can cause your symptoms...Ask your Dr. about these two things. An internal examinaton will determine either.

Good Luck, PJ

I've experienced a fairly constant anal discharge for 3+ years now.It begins to occur ( almost always daily) AFTER a bowel movement. It almost feels as if I'm not wiping thoroughly but occurs no matter how well I wipe. It causes a terrible itch and if I don't constantly keep wiping myself clean ( 5-10 times a day)will even cause the area around the anus to become very irritated. After every b/m my anus (for lack of a more accurate description) "protrudes" and I have to (with the aide of latex gloves and some essential oil for hemorrhoids ( for lubrication) "push it back in". Once I do this,I can go longer periods of time between "cleanings" before the condition gets uncomfortable. I've been diagnosed with (and have suffered from) internal hemorrhoids(intermittently bleeding) for at least five years running. This condition really affects my quality of life.My GP has been absolutely no help in this matter. I take supplemental fiber and enzymes daily. Drink NO coffee or Colas and largely avoid "junk food" however I consume a fair amount of sugar in my diet. From time to time I'll engage the web searching for some answers to this condition but to date haven't found any real help.ANY pertinent information REALLY appreciated!
