Well in my opinion, diets never work, and if you do end up loosing weight, it's in a very unhealthy way. If you're going to go on a diet, don't make it so restricting. And if you hardly eat anything, they say that your body thinks it's starving itself, so it stores fat, so you end up gaining weight. My suggestion is that you don't go on a diet, just eat healthily, (a good amount of meats, fruits, vegetables etc.), and exercise regularly. It works every time,
