I would like to learn something more about ayurveda. Actually, I am interested in the explanation of the ayurvedic definition. I started practicing ayurvedic mental health prevention techniques a month ago and just now realized that I do not even know the meaning of the word. So, if you can help me, I would appreciate it much. Thank you.

In Sanskrit, ayurveda means "the science of life". Earliest documents concerning this subjects are over 5000 years old, and are considered one of the oldest, if not the first, written notes on the subject of human health. You could guess by the word itself that its origin is in India. And you don' t have to be embarrassed by your ignorance. The important thing is that you wish to learn and improve yourself.
