Hi. I am a guy 32 years old and I have problems. I had a fever, my liver hurt, I was vomiting, I was feeling fatigued, etc. I went to a doctor and he told me that I autoimmune hepatitis. I am scared and I do not know what I will do. I will soon get a therapy, so I am interested in knowing what it is. Thanks in front.

It is a serious thing, but if it is spotted early it can be treated, and even cured. Autoimmune hepatitis is an immune system disorder and it make your immune system attack your liver cells. Treatment includes slowing down the immune system so it would work normally. I know that they use azathioprine and prednisone for this kind of thing.
