Hello there, I am 19 years old girl who attends medical school. I want to ask you one question. Can you tell me what autoimmune inner ear disease exactly is? Tell me everything you know about it. I have a test in a couple of days and that is why I need to know. For everything you say, I am thanking you.

This is inflammatory infection of the inner ear. This is pretty rare condition. It happens when instead of the virus cells, cells of the inner ear are attacked. Prednisone or steroids therapy are most commonly used. This disease is sometimes mixed with otitis and because of that it is very difficult to diagnose it.
