Hi, I am 45 years old male with Parkinson’s disease. As I have high cholesterol I was prescribed with Zocor, but since then I have balance disorders, muscle ache and weakness and difficult walking. Should I stop taking it?

Hi, I also had high cholesterol and Zocor, as therapy. But, within 2 weeks time I was exhausted and my state could be exactly described on the label of the drug, matching side effects balance disorder , muscle weakness and problems walking. I even fell down a few times after taking Zocor. Finally, I had to change my therapy, and doctor supported this decision. He explained me that in some cases muscle cramps, aches are seen. Pain while trying to move, and general weakness are noticed. Sometimes I also had dizziness; headache and occasionally I couldn’t fall asleep. Now, I am using diet to low cholesterol.
