I have had this problem for many years. It seemed to start with the drugs they gave me after a bad injury. But has gotten much worse latey. I have been to 3 doctors and none have an answer they just want to keep sticking things up there Shocked . There fingers, camera's and I realy do not like that. I am shure it is the booze. I have not been able to find anything on this untill this thread! I get bright red blood and as stated that is the end of the line. I think the big point here is that the doctors seem to want to do all kinds of stuff to us(one's with the bleeding butt syndrome) that just cost alot of $. When the cure is to not drink. Well I am not a quiter! So I will find a way around this. Lets all do tests and come back and post the results. I have read here that eating and drinking water with the booze worked for one I will try that first. I have had many test done so all the bad things it could be have been ruled out. This is very bad for me I am from Wisconsin and it is a drinking culture.
