What kind of diet should I take after heart surgery?
Next week I will go to heart surgery. I’m trying to prepare myself for that as much as I can. I talked with many people how have some experiences with heart surgery. Please, give me good advice and tell me What kind of diet should I take after heart surgery? Thank you!

I suppose that your doctor will recommend that you follow a low fat, no added salt diet. You should try to control your weight and eat less saturated fat and cholesterol. This may reduce your risk of a heart attack in the future and of your risk for surgery again.
