Hi, I would like some info on the liver problem my father has. It seems like there is some problem with the blood flow within the liver and he will have to go for some examinations, I heard doctors mention hepatic arteriography and hepatic angiography. What is the difference between those two?

As far as I know, those two belong to X ray examinations where a dye is used to show the doctors blood net and/or the lymphatic system in the liver. Also, a special substance, called Lipiodol might be used. Actually, a series of snapshots is taken so that the blood flow might be seen easily (and some abnormalities spotted).
