What is a safe apetite supressant for those with Type II Diabetes

With the onset of Type II diabetes, and also dealing with menopause, I would like to know what is a safe apetite supressant? I am currently on medications, Glucotrol XL and Glucophage. The diabetes is responding well to the medication but it's as if my apetite cannot be appeased.
