I am taking seroquel for my depression and anxiety. I find it really good at regulating my sleeping problems. I had troubles falling asleep but this drug helped me grow out of it.
I have regular check-ups with my doc and he is assessing my condition while on this drug. I think you can only get it by prescription.

How did you think to get it without?

Anyway, seroquel is primarily approved for schizophrenia and bipolar. It is also used for some other disorders.
I was told to report any strange symptoms but I didn’t have any if I ignore weight gain.

Since you obviously have internet access why don't you just google a question like this instead of relying on people who may or may not know or be giving you correct information?

I take serequel for Post Traumatic Stress disorder and treatment resistant depression. It is the only medication that the Dr. and I have found that controls the nightmares and flashbacks. The weight gain has been nothing compared to Xyprexa, which I used to be on. Because of a screw up with medicaid I couldn't take my Serequel last night and I slept a whopping 1/2 hr all night and nightmared during that 1/2 hour. I really believe without the Serequel I probably would have comitted suicide a long time ago.
